Monday pickup is 5p-6p.

TUESDAYS-FRIDAYS

Camp activities (Tuesday - Friday) will end by 3p.

Students still onsite will wait patiently in the seating area to be picked up by their guardian. We will have a camp table open for campers to read or do quiet activities while they wait.

Our regular class schedule will remain in-tact and occur accordingly. Students who will be attending later classes are welcome to stay onsite for their respective classes.

Only active Virtue Taekwondo members may do class past 3p. Campers who are not active students, siblings, or friends of students may not do class past 3p.

Students who are not eligible to do class should not remain onsite later than 6p.

Weekly Challenges

Each Tuesday, campers will be given a worksheet to complete by Thursday on the respective week’s virtue & value. Prizes will be awarded on Friday to those who complete their challenge.

Each worksheet will include challenges the camper must complete for the week to cultivate and demonstrate that particular principle.

  • Week 1: Faith & Respect

  • Week 2: Humility & Commitment

  • Week 3: Fortitude & Self Discipline

  • Week 4: Confidence & Unity

  • Week 5: Virtue of their choice

NOTE

  • Each camper will receive a complimentary t-shirt.

  • Camp t-shirts are required to be worn on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays (optional on Tuesdays & Thursdays).

  • Morning class will require uniform pants. Camp t-shirt or dobok top may be worn for class.

  • On field trip days, we will seek to maximize fun time at the respective venue. We will depart from the dojang soon after morning drop-off or in accordance with the opening time of the venue.

  • Students may stay onsite for their afternoon/evening Taekwondo classes. Pick-up should not be later than 6p unless their class is after that time.

  • Field trip entries/tickets are included in the camp cost with the exclusion of food at restaurants. Daily meals are not included. Campers will need to bring a sack lunch or money to purchase food close by (e.g. Subway, Teriyaki, etc.)

  • The camp calendar and schedule are tentative and may be modified as needed.

Disclaimer

Individual scheduling elements / field trips are subject to rescheduling or cancellation based on unforeseen circumstances (e.g. unexpected closure by venue, excessive traffic, transportation issues, weather, etc.). We will do everything we can to maintain the integrity of our camp schedule.

"Unhappy campers" who display unruly or insubordinate behavior will need to be removed from the day's activities / picked up by their guardians. Campers whose behavior is not resolved will be expelled from camp altogether.

Refunds will not be provided at any time.
