"King of the Ring" sparring/fight night, as with all hands-on sessions, are expressly taken at the personal risk of the participant and registering guardian(s). I hereby agree to hold harmless and forever discharge Virtue Taekwondo, its affiliates, successors, employees, or representatives against all claims, liabilities, damages, injuries, expenses, illnesses, deaths, disabilities, or causes of action of any nature and kind, known or unknown, that may result from the activities or circumstances which may exist with participation in or proximity to this event; whether due to negligence or any other cause. I acknowledge that the payment for this event will not be refunded at any time. I affirm the full rights of Virtue Taekwondo to control and maintain the safety of this event by such means including but not limited to enforcing rules and regulations, disciplining misbehavior, removing individuals for contributing to inharmonious or unsafe conditions, amending or eliminating activities as deemed necessary, terminating all event activities, contacting authorities, or any other lawful activity.

KING OF THE RING is a lower-pressure sparring event where students can receive a more realistic and immersive tournament-style experience.
Its primary purpose is to lower nervousness and pressure in a real tournament environment, to provide our students with greater experience-level with high-performance sparring, to improve the quality of sparring in our students, and to support the growth of our current sparring-loving athletes.
All participants will receive a congratulatory certificate with their name on it.
Athlete's weight (and possibly height) will be verified onsite.
Brackets, height-measurements, and weight-monitoring, will be used to provide maximum fairness and a clear pathway to victory for students within their grouping. (Note: Use of these methods will be affected based on number of participants signed up and any time constraints/delays)
Grouping methodology and rules of competition may be modified at any time.
