I, participant (or legal guardian of participant), fully understand the nature of the ‘Virtue Invitational In-House Taekwondo Tournament’ as a martial arts sporting event that likely involves physical contact to varying degrees, and hereby affirm that all its activities are undertaken solely at the risk of myself or my dependent (each registering participant and their guardian(s)). I hereby agree to hold harmless and forever discharge Virtue Taekwondo, its affiliates, ownership, successors, employees, or representatives against all claims, liabilities, damages, injuries, expenses, illnesses, deaths, disabilities, or causes of action of any nature and kind, known or unknown, that may result from the activities or circumstances which may accompany participation in or proximity to this event; whether due to negligence or any other cause.

I affirm the full rights of Virtue Taekwondo to control and maintain the safety of this event by such means including but not limited to enforcing rules and regulations, removing individuals for contributing to inharmonious or unsafe conditions, amending or eliminating event activities, terminating all event activities, contacting authorities, or any other lawful activity as deemed necessary.

I acknowledge that the payment for this event will not be refunded at any time.

I understand that photography, video recording, or other media-based activities may take place at any time. I hereby grant full permission for myself, my guest(s), and/or my children/dependent(s) to be photographed or recorded. I waive any rights to all ownership, royalties, licensing, or compensation of such material.

In the event of a situation requiring immediate medical attention, I hereby grant my full consent for medical care to be administered to the registered athlete (myself or my dependent). This includes, but is not limited to, first aid, the administration of emergency treatment, and calling emergency services (e.g. 911) if deemed necessary by event staff or supervising personnel.

I have read all the tournament rules & regulations and hereby agree to abide by them at all times, otherwise risking my athlete's eligibility to compete, or the possibility of being asked to leave the premises.
